Today the university cooperates with more than 100 universities and organizations of the CIS, the People's Republic of China, the European Union, Africa, etc.
BSATU is a member of international organizations: Scientific and Educational Consortium, Educational and Methodological Consortium «International Association for Additional Professional Education», Association of Technical Universities, Association «Alliance of New Generation Leaders». The Rector of the University is a member of the Council of Rectors of the leading agrarian universities of the CIS member states, university workers are members of the Advisory Committee for agro-industrial complex and experts of the working groups of the Eurasian Economic Commission, regional experts on agricultural and trade policy in the CIS countries at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – FAO, national experts on development programs of the United Nations, national coordinators of FAO technical cooperation programs.
Over the past 5 years, more than 450 foreign citizens from 33 countries of the world have studied at BSATU: CIS countries, Georgia, African countries, EU countries, East Asia countries, South Asia countries, South-West Asia countries, Middle East countries, Middle East countries. Joint educational programs and academic mobility programs are being implemented with educational establishments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan (over the past 5 years, 166 students have studied at BSATU). Over the past 3 years, more than 100 foreign scientists and specialists have taken part in the educational process of the university, BSATU workers are invited to participate in the work of International Master's Schools in Russia and Kazakhstan. The distance learning form is being actively introduced. The university is actively positioned in the international educational stage, takes part in international rankings, participates in international exhibitions and forums.
Education of foreign citizens is an important part of complex international activity. Foreign citizens are offered training at the preparatory department, Russian language courses, higher and research-oriented education programs, as well as advanced training and internship programs. All foreign citizens are provided with a hostel. They have at their disposal a modern library, cafe, canteen, first-aid post, pharmacy, and sports complex. To promote foreign cultures among teachers and students of BSATU and to support new arrivals, the university celebrates such holidays as Eid al-Adha, Novruz Bayram, Independence Day, Heritage Day. In their turn, foreign students are involved in the celebration of state and national holidays of Belarus. We regularly work on socio-cultural and psychological adaptation of foreign citizens in a new country. Foreign students may experience difficulties with the educational material, therefore, an individual approach to learning is carried out in the classroom. Much attention is also paid to the organization and holding of extracurricular activities - special trips in Minsk and the famous places of Belarus. Individual and cultural characteristics of each student are important to us.
