The University campus is a nice, well-planned green area in the heart of the capital of Belarus. Every visitor admires beautiful alleys lined with trees and shrubs. The beauty of the campus is enhanced by colourful landscapes, flower beds and lawns.
The University campus consists of 6 university buildings, 9 hostels and the University youth center. At the students’ disposal there is a library, reading halls, a first-aid post, a stadium and various sports grounds. The university canteen and some cafes are ready to offer delicious meals.
Special attention is given to sport at the University. The University has one of the best sport bases in the Republic. A modern sport base, good organization and active involvement of the students in sport and health-improving activity contribute to popularity of sport at the University, preparation of healthy strong advanced specialists of the agro-industrial complex. The University is proud of its Olympic and world champions. The university has a sports club where 21 health groups are organized for students and university staff, 15 sports sections in various sports: volleyball (male and female), basketball (male), badminton, football (male), futsal, powerlifting, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, weightlifting and track and field athletics, boxing, etc. University teams have been formed to participate in competitions of various ranks.
The students can spend their free time enjoying themselves at 32 clubs or university folk theatre ''Prometei''.
The following events have become traditional: the Republican project «Agrarian Spring», «Dedication to students», «Mr. BSATU», «Mrs BSATU», «Student of the Year», «Student Spring» (battle of the faculties).
In 2020, the Veles art-folk group became the laureate of the first degree of the international festival «Christmas Wave», in 2022 they received a diploma of the first degree in the international competition «Mara», in the international festival of folk arts (Italy) - a diploma of the 1st degree.
The dance group of modern dance «Oxygen» is a multiple winner of the international dance competition «Take a Step Forward». In 2022, the team received a diploma of the second degree at the Republican Festival of Artistic Creativity of Student Youth «ART-initiative - 2022».
