The farm machinery service faculty was founded in 2000. 

The farm machinery service faculty is a unique faculty in the Republic of Belarus that trains qualified engineers for the agro-technical service of Belarus.

The faculty has modern material and technical basis: specialized laboratories equipped with diagnostic, repair and technological equipment and accessories, workshops for students' practical training (metalwork, machine tool, thermal forging, welding), classrooms, computer classrooms.

In the course of training, students have the opportunity to acquire working professions such as a driver of vehicles, a tractor driver for managing tractors and self-propelled agricultural machines, a mechanic for repairing agricultural machines and equipment, as well as one of the social specialties within the framework of additional education for young people (psychologist, sociologist, art expert, designer, sport organizer, etc.).

The faculty has modern material and technical basis: specialized laboratories equipped with diagnostic, repair and technological equipment and accessories, workshops for students' practical training (metalwork, machine tool, thermal forging, welding), classrooms, computer classrooms.

In the course of training, students have the opportunity to acquire working professions such as a driver of vehicles, a tractor driver for managing tractors and self-propelled agricultural machines, a mechanic for repairing agricultural machines and equipment, as well as one of the social specialties within the framework of additional education for young people (psychologist, sociologist, art expert, designer, sport organizer, etc.).

The faculty includes 6 chairs:

• Technologies and organization of technical services chair;
• Metal technologies chair;
• Mechanics of materials and machine parts chair;
• Social and humanitarian disciplines chair;
• Occupational safety management chair;
• Physical education and sports chair.

Farm machinery service in agribusiness

You will get the following skills:

• Modern technologies and means of production and farm machnery service of equipment;
• Methods for designing parts and assemblies, designs of machines and equipment, designing technologies for manufacturing parts;
• Design work on the creation of machines and equipment;
• Production planning, production process management in farm machinery service logistics;
• Improving the performance of agricultural machines;
• Research of the level of reliability of machines and equipment and development of methods for increasing the durability of machine parts during repairs.

Graduates are competent in maintenance, repair of machinery and equipment in the agro-industrial complex, service support of agricultural machinery, design and manufacture of parts, management of logistics processes for farm machinery service enterprises.

Our specialists work in maintenance and repair services for agricultural machinery, agricultural service enterprises, agricultural engineering organizations, dealership centers of manufacturing plants, specialized technical and logistics centers.

Occupational safety in industries

You will get the following skills:

• Knowledge of labor and labor protection legislation, potentially dangerous and harmful technological objects;
• Monitoring working conditions, assessing dangerous situations in the workplace;
• Projects to create means to ensure human safety from hazards and develop safety requirements and instructions;
• Investigation of industrial accidents and implementation of response measures;
• Methods for analysis and forecasting of injuries and emergency situations;
• Security systems design.

Graduates are competent in monitoring the state of labor protection and managing the labor protection system in organizations of the agro-industrial complex.

Our specialists work in the labor protection services of agricultural and processing industry organizations, agricultural engineering enterprises, agricultural services and other related industries, state and departmental bodies for supervision and control over compliance with labor protection legislation.
