The acquisition of modern knowledge and practical skills is guaranteed by experienced, highly qualified teaching staff of the faculty, which is constantly improving the educational process, provides it with the necessary educational and methodical literature. Theoretical knowledge gained by the students is consolidated during laboratory and practical classes in specially equipped classrooms, in specialized educational laboratories and computer classrooms. Under the guidance of the leading teachers of the faculty, students carry out diploma projects on current topics. The students of the faculty undergo practical training at the leading enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, as well as in Germany.

Students of the faculty have the opportunity to do research work under the supervision of teachers and employees of the chair. The main directions of scientific activity of the scientists of the faculty are the development of the scientific and methodological basis to improve technological processes for the processing of agricultural products; spectroscopy and photochemistry of materials activated by macroheterocyclic compounds promising for agricultural production; efficiency improvement of grain material processing for food and feed purposes; improvement of labor protection system at agricultural and processing enterprises of the agro-industrial complex; formation of information culture of agricultural production engineers in the context of globalization.

For high academic performance, active participation in research and public activity, the best students of the faculty are given scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus, scholarships of Francysk Skaryna, BSATU personalized scholarships and also scholarships of Minsk City Executive Committee. Some students become laureates of republican competitions for the best research work, winners and prize-winners of republican and international competitions in various kinds of sports and creative festivals.

The faculty has all the facilities for educational, scientific and creative activities, comfortable living in a hostel, physical education and sports.
